You're right. Free is inexpensive. But that is the price our customers like to pay! We are trying to offer the service free to our customers, while generating revenue though controlled advertisements. If you hate to see ads, we offer a small yearly subscription plan which removes all ads. Top |

Fircle offers two pricing plans. 1: Free (our most popular, but you'll see a few ads on some pages). 2: Yearly rate of $39.95 without any ads (almost free! Only $3.33 a month).

Calendar events are saved forever! A large part of Fircle is making it easy to record family history with other generations. We also think it is a valuable tool to be able to look through past years of medical history. Keeping and generating personal journals or family newsletters from past years is also a great family keepsake, priceless to future generations. In order to meet all these goals, Fircle will never delete anything from it's database. It will always be there as a permanent record of your family history. Top |

A recurring event is a calendar entry that you want repeated: daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. For example, if you play basketball every Sunday at 9 am you can make that event recurring every week. For birthdays and anniversaries you can make them recurring yearly. Top |

A calendar category allows you to show (or not show) calendar events pertaining to friends, family or other calendars. You decide which events are shown on your calendar by checking categories you would like to see, then clicking the Display Checked button. Top |

Message boards present an easy way to discuss various issues with other Fircle members. Your family gets its very own message board. You can post, reply and discuss different subjects such as family stories, current events, etc. Since it's your board, you decide who can view a post. For example, if you start a post on "Family Stories" you can only allow family to view and reply. In each post you decide if you want to share with: family, friends, extended family, friends 4, or public. By the way, "friends 4" means you can share posts with friends within 4 levels of separation. In other words, your friends-friends-friends-friends and your extended family-friends-friends-friends! It's a great way to connect to other great people!
In addition, you may post and reply to your friends, extended family, friends 4, and public boards! The public boards are a great place to discuss vacation spots, great shopping deals, parenting, pets and other subjects. Top |

You are allowed to add as many family members as you like. Your subscription is based on your nuclear family, and so all of your family members are allowed to have their own sign in accounts with passwords under your family membership. This is helpful, since each family member can then customize Fircle to their own needs. Top |

Your data will be retained. Fircle is designed to maintain a family history. All your calendar events, family rules, recipes, job charts, etc are stored forever in our archive. Even if your subscription runs out, your account is still valid, and you can always sign-in to Fircle to view any of your family data. The only restriction you have with an expired account, is that you may not add new data. But all your existing data will be available to you, regardless of your account status. Top |
